Michael and Dana. {Sacramento LDS Temple Wedding}

The sky was beautiful! I loved the clouds on Michael and Dana’s wedding day. The night before we experienced one of the most wintery storms we have had all year in Folsom– gusty winds, crazy rain. . . I was up most of the night planning what I was going to do to photograph this beautiful couple in the pouring rain. I had it all figured out! But thank goodness I never had to use my plan because it ended up being a beautiful day with a gorgeous couple! Here are a few of my favorite images. Congratulations Michael and Dana!!!

It’s the new year! Can you believe it? It is almost February and I am just blogging. . . Happy New Year; just a little late. :) I thought the perfect way to start off my blogging for this new year is by posting this beautiful baby girl and her adorable brother and family. I photographed them last year before all of the holiday hussle and bussle. Baby Girl came on the most perfect day — November 11, 2011. She was 4 days late . . . her entrance had to be spectacular! A new baby is a new beginning. Another miracle. New life. New memories. More room for unimagineable love in your heart. And, believe me– this home is full of nothing but LOVE.

I remember when I was younger, thinking that becoming a Senior in high school seemed so far away. It was one of those things that seemed like it would never happen. But it did. . . and it does. A milestone that we some how all of a sudden become truly ready to become reality. Ready to go out in the world and become who we think we can be. . .

And now that I am a Mother, I think I will let my little ones stay as little as long as possible! :)

Here’s to your Senior Year Phillip! Congratulations! Savor every moment . . .

Ohio. {folsom family photographer}

I was so lucky to be able to take pictures of this amazing family! One reason is because they are our family. We don’t get to see each other too often because they live in Ohio but this summer we were able to meet up in Utah. The cousins had so much fun playing and getting to know each other again.

Jessica also is a photographer in Ohio. She does a fabulous job! It is fun to have another photographer in the family. We can chat and ask each other questions or just go out and take pictures when we are ever together. Jessica was the person who talked me into going to New Orleans for my first photography workshop. It was fun and a great learning experience. If you know anyone in Ohio, Jessica is so kind and has a special touch with Newborns. You can check Jessica Gowdy Photography out {here}.
